The Restaurant General Manager manages all aspects of the restaurant including front of the house and kitchen personnel. They have complete responsibility of all cafe personnel scheduling, enforcing policies, procedures & standards. General MAnagers must have full knowledge of the menu, recipes, inventories & processes of the restaurant. The General Manager supervises the execution of and oversees all FOH/kitchen operations, ensuring all standards of quality and service are met. They are responsible for continually developing employees through training and follow-up. The General Manager manages all scheduled shifts for appropriate coverage to ensure guest satisfaction. They are also financially responsible for all aspects of the cafe's operations.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3-5 years restaurant management/ownership experience Must have State approved Sanitation and Safety certifications Able to fully understand, update and operate P.O.S. computer system Knowledge of PC to fulfill closing/opening management functions required Skilled at diffusing and resolving situations with customers that arise Manage all employee issues, requests, failures, incidences and insubordination with professionalism and skill Proficient in the following areas: communications, mentoring, planning, leadership and quality of operations Maintain proper attire and professionalism at all times
