General Manager Position: Independent Franchise Opportunity

Position Overview: General Manager

The General Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the restaurant's profitability and in upholding McDonald's rigorous customer standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are set high, making this a significant leadership position within the organization. The General Manager collaborates with his or her leader to establish the restaurant's goals and is responsible for creating actionable plans to achieve them.

Leadership and Team Management

Achieving restaurant objectives is a team effort. The General Manager leads a group of Department Managers, each responsible for specific areas within the restaurant. The General Manager helps Department Managers set their individual goals, monitors progress, and provides coaching and guidance to improve departmental performance. Success in these areas contributes to the overall improvement of the restaurant.

Additionally, the General Manager may be tasked with hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers, ensuring the restaurant is staffed with a strong leadership team for future growth.

Candidate Requirements

Ideal applicants should have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume establishments. Experience in quick service restaurants is highly preferred, and backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also valued. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to hold a managerial role in our franchise-owned restaurants.
