Job Requirements and Duties




As an assistant manager at Domino's, you are responsible for the overall operation during your shift. This includes:

Cost and inventory control

Cash management

Customer relations

Staffing and scheduling

Store cleanliness and organization

Food quality management

Marketing and promotional activities

General Duties for All Team Members



Operate equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed Stock ingredients, prepare products, and clean work areas Process phone orders and handle inventory management Perform regular facility cleaning

Training




On-the-job training will be provided, covering all essential aspects of the role.

Essential Skills



Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) Ability to make change and process transactions accurately Ability to use a computer and touchscreen for order entry Navigational skills to find delivery addresses Strong motor coordination for fast-paced tasks

Work Conditions



Exposure to various weather conditions when delivering products or performing outdoor tasks Varying temperatures in the store, from coolers to hot ovens Physical work in cramped spaces and handling hot equipment Noise and food odors may be present

Physical Requirements



Standing

: Most tasks require standing for extended periods

Walking

: Delivery staff may walk short distances between the store and customer locations

Lifting

: Bulk product deliveries, cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavy items like pizza sauce (30 pounds)

Carrying

: Items such as pizza dough trays (12 pounds) and pizzas during delivery

Climbing

: Occasional climbing of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes

Reaching

: Frequent reaching to stock ingredients or handle tasks in the kitchen

Additional Job Tasks



Hand tasks

: Strong eye-hand coordination needed for tasks like shaping dough and assembling pizza boxes

Driving

: You will deliver pizzas to customer locations, requiring a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.

Specific Driving Duties



Deliver pizzas and promotional materials within a designated delivery area Navigate through various terrains, including multi-story buildings Ability to use a map or GPS to find customer locations and handle multiple deliveries during a shift

Physical and Sensory Demands



Carrying

: Transport pizzas and drinks during deliveries, including climbing stairs

Driving

: Navigate the delivery area safely and efficiently

Walking/Climbing

: Regular movement between the store, vehicle, and delivery locations

Sensing

: Good vision for driving, including far vision and night vision, is necessary for safe delivery

Work Environment



Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries In-store temperatures can fluctuate between cool and hot areas (36F in the cooler to 90F+ in the kitchen) Potential hazards include sharp tools, hot surfaces, and moving equipment

Additional Skills and Tools



Must be able to manipulate tools such as pizza cutters and peels Use of technology, including computers, phones, and calculators
