General Manager

to oversee and optimize the strategic and operational functions of our three-location cannabis retail business. This dynamic and critical role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance (

MED/Metrc

), managing inventory logistics remotely, leading marketing initiatives, and overseeing all staffing and HR functions.

This role is primarily based at a central office location, focusing on management, oversight, and policy execution across all units.

Key Responsibilities



1. Operations & Compliance (SOPs, Metrc)



Compliance Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for

Metrc

compliance across all three locations. Conduct thorough weekly reconciliations and accurately document all inventory discrepancies.

SOP Development:

Create, refine, and enforce

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

for existing and new operational protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency across all locations.

On-Call Support:

Provide management support, including

after-hours support

, for all managers, addressing operational emergencies, procedural questions, and staff call-offs.

Store Audits:

Conduct periodic store visits to ensure procedural adherence and operational standards are met.

2. Wholesale Management



Wholesale Coordination:

Prepare and disseminate wholesale inventory emails

to external buyers, promptly responding to external communication regarding orders or product availability.

Vendor Relations:

Maintain strong vendor relationships and actively monitor the market for new and high-demand products.

3. Marketing & Customer Engagement



Promotional Strategy:

Develop and execute the weekly marketing calendar, including creating flyers and scheduling deals within our POS (

Flowhub

) and external platforms (

Weedmaps

).

Digital Outreach:

Oversee weekly text message promotions using our designated platform.

Brand Presence:

Manage and update online platforms (Google My Business, Weedmaps, Spark Plug, etc.), including responding to customer reviews and updating photos/information. Assist with creating and scheduling Instagram content.

Event Planning:

Coordinate or assist store managers with setting up promotional pop-ups and events for holidays and product launches.

Performance Analysis:

Pull

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

reports to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and overall store performance.

4. Human Resources & Staff Development



Recruitment & Onboarding:

Manage the full cycle of hiring: creating compelling job ads (

Indeed

), scheduling and conducting interviews, processing new hires via HR platforms (

When I Work, Flowhub, Metrc

), ensuring all compliance paperwork is accurately completed and filed.

Scheduling & Payroll:

Create and manage staff schedules for all dispensaries, process weekly payroll data (via Google Sheets), and accurately track employee

Paid Time Off (PTO)

and sick time.

Training & Education:

Lead the training and onboarding of new managers and budtenders. Ensure all staff is consistently informed on new products, company procedures, and updated regulatory changes from the

MED

.

Leadership & Evaluation:

Organize and conduct all essential meetings (manager meetings, one-on-ones, budtender huddles) and perform regular employee evaluations and performance reviews.

Direct Support:

Step in for critical coverage as needed, focusing on high-level resolution and operational issues rather than routine budtending shift.

Qualifications

Must possess a current and valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee License (MED Badge).

Minimum of 2 years of management experience

, preferably in a multi-unit retail environment.

2+ years of direct experience in the regulated Colorado cannabis industry is highly preferred.

Strong

Metrc experience

and knowledge of compliance protocols is required. Proficiency with POS systems (

Flowhub

is a plus) and scheduling platforms (

is a plus). Exceptional organizational, time management, and verbal/written communication skills. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate teams remotely and in-person.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 DOE 90 day review

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
