Southeastern Extrusion and Tool, Inc., established in 1971, is the largest independently owned manufacturer of Aluminum extrusion dies and tooling. SET employs 150 employees.The Company has an outstanding presence as a National market leader.

Southeastern is a precision machine shop using state of the art CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, EDM wire other high technology to create a quality product. Our products are manufactured from certified H-13 tool steel.

General Manager of Manufacturing

SET is seeking a highly motivated individual to take ownership of the responsibilities of the position. One who formulates overall strategy, managing people, process and procedures, the GM of Manufacturing must be a confident decision maker with strong analytical ability, problem solving and leadership skills. Must have the ability to manage and set expectations while learning operations.

Responsibilities:

Directs day to day operations of all manufacturing facilities. Taking a hands-on approach and maintaining a high visibility presence on the plant floor.

Manages the overall health and safety at all Company Facilities ensuring compliance with company policy and OSHA regulations.

Drives quality in process, procedures, and product manufacturing. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and company quality compliance. Maintaining the standard.

Managing reports, Plant Manager, Plant Management and Department Supervisors, in accountability regarding production and process standards, on time delivery and Quality products.

Setting the pace and sense of urgency for Managers, Supervisors, and employees.

Manage maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance of equipment and the physical plant to ensure on time functions for the facility.

Control and minimize labor cost and overtime by maintaining on time delivery and quality of product to internal customers.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Concentrations in Engineering/Management preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in overall manufacturing operations.

Knowledge of business operation, Finance and HR.
