About the Role - Be Our Next Amazing General Manager!



We're looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and motivated leader to become our next

General Manager. If you're passionate about building connections, motivating a team,

and creating a welcoming environment, this is the role for you!

As General Manager, you'll take the lead in ensuring families, students, and staff have

an awesome experience at our facility. You" ll be at the heart of our swim community --

helping manage staff, developing programs, ensuring safety, and delivering top-notch

customer service. You'll thrive if you're organized, dependable, and proactive in finding

solutions -- plus, we love leaders who know how to smile and have FUN along the way!

You'll report to the Head of Operations while working in the lobby and throughout our

facility to make sure everything runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

Hiring and training enthusiastic new staff members Creating efficient schedules to keep our swim school running smoothly Leading staff with positivity, support, and encouragement Organizing exciting events for families and staff Running engaging team meetings to boost morale and communication Ensuring our facility is clean, organized, and inviting Building connections with students and families -- making everyone feel welcome Managing payroll and tracking budgets Keeping records accurate and organized Bringing energy, enthusiasm, and FUN to your shift every day!

Your Schedule:

May Vary
Weekday hours: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM (with extended hours in the summer) Weekend hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

We'd Love to See:

2+ years of experience in competitive swimming or swim coaching 2+ years of management experience (required) A caring and compassionate heart for children and families Strong problem-solving skills and proactive thinking Fantastic communication skills and a positive attitude Dependability and reliability -- we count on you!

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred High School Diploma or GED

Company Description

Water Wings Swim School is a year-round swim school for both children and adults.

Owned and operated by Avi and Tracy Shafshak, we opened our first location in April

2003, located at the Merry hill private school in Las Vegas, Nevada. We currently have

thirteen indoor facilities in Nevada, California, Texas and Idaho. We believe that a year-

around approach to swimming reinforces all the skills needed to become a relaxed and

confident lifelong swimmer. Our program recommends to most of our clients to come in

once or twice a week in a small group setting, and that they do this on a year-round

basis. This consistent and continuous exposure to the water is the key to making

swimming an enjoyable and beneficial part of your family's lives. A swimmer of any age

(3 months to adult) and any ability level can enter our program and find an appropriate

class at any time of the year.

We provide swim instruction to our community that builds confidence and develops

safety skills in a student-centered environment. Every day is different, with opportunities
