We are Bai Tong group representing Noi Thai Cuisine and Bai Tong Thai Restaurant. We are in 6 Washington state locations, and we also have out-of-state locations in Bend, OR and Honolulu, HI. We are currently hiring for the following position:

Job Brief:
We are seeking a resourceful and dynamic Restaurant General Manager who will be responsible for achieving all revenue, profitability, and quality goals of our restaurant. As the driving force behind the seamless operation of our establishment, your role is pivotal in upholding our standards of excellence, fostering a productive and positive working environment, and ensuring every guest has a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the restaurant, including kitchen operations, guest services, and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all areas.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Address staffing requirements, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Financial Management:
  • Oversee financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Ensure profitability by optimizing operational costs and maximizing revenue streams.
Guest Experience:
  • Uphold an exceptional standard of guest service.
  • Handle guest relations and resolve any issues with tact and diplomacy, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Maintain an environment that is safe for both staff and guests.
  • Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations.
Innovation and Improvement:
  • Continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Implement innovative strategies to enhance the dining experience and stay ahead in a competitive market.
Marketing:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the restaurant's brand and reputation.
  • Successfully promote and publicize Noi Thai.
General Operations:
  • Coordinate the entire restaurant operation.
  • Deliver superior guest service and ensure absolute guest satisfaction.
  • Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible.
  • Approve schedules, organize, and supervise shifts.
  • Appraise team's performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive.
  • Estimate consumption, forecast requirements, and maintain inventory.
  • Control costs and minimize waste.
  • Control labor costs.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example.
  • Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions.
Compliance & Standards:
  • Enforce standards and procedures.
Reporting:
  • Work with and report to the Director of Operations.
  • Follow the chain of command.
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience as a restaurant manager.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial role in a high-end, upscale, or fine dining restaurant.
  • Financial management skills (budgeting, forecasting, and P&L Management).
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service management.
  • Extensive food and wine knowledge.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
  • Be in good physical condition.
