Role Overview:
The General Maintenance Worker performs routine maintenance and repairs to ensure buildings, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and presentable for staff, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems, and building infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Repair or replace doors, windows, locks, and other fixtures.
Perform basic carpentry, painting, and patching of walls, floors, and ceilings.
Maintain grounds: lawn care, snow removal, and trash collection.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
Coordinate with external contractors for larger repairs or installations.
Maintain maintenance logs and comply with safety/building regulations.
Perform cleaning as needed to maintain a safe environment.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in facilities maintenance with focus on major operating systems.
Proficient with tools and basic troubleshooting of logic controllers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Customer service-oriented with ability to work under pressure.
Compensation:
Sign-on bonus: $1,250 at 6 months, $1,250 at 1 year.
