The General Supervisor Maintenance (GSM) provides overall supervision over personnel performing Maintenance logistics functions. The GSM is directly responsible for all maintenance performed on specified or designated equipment. Ensures all quality standards and metrics are met, work is properly completed, environmental standards are upheld in coordination with the PM. The GSM is responsible for compliance and the establishment of internal processes, controls and safety programs within the Maintenance mission. The GSM:

Provides direction, counseling, training, and mentorship for assigned personnel.
Reviews schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning repair parts requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering facility limitations and time constraints.
Makes decisions regarding improving productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Develops/ensures compliance with procedures and ensures adherence to Government and project standards as required.
Ensures task requirements are met in accordance with PWS for all performance areas.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Prepares reports for Government regarding status of all areas of responsibility.
Attend, or facilitate as required, scheduled and unscheduled materiel maint planning & status meetings required by the COR and IMMO
Provide briefing/facility tours of materiel maintenance facilities as required by the COR or IMMO
As part of the Contingency Plan, develop maintenance SOPs (internal and external)
Analyzes reports/metrics related to project performance and provides trend analysis to the PM.
Resolves problems concerning customer support, and coordinates responses from all departments.
Facilitates problem resolution; develops workable solutions to address potential concerns.
Collaborates with all other departments in order to synchronize project activities.
Familiar with a variety of the installation\'s concepts, practices, and procedures.
Provide verbal and/or written (electronic) readiness status on reportable equip as requested
Prepare/submit/maintain records, reports, & submittals required by Army Regs, Pams, and TBs
Reviews team performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and schedules.
Manages Warranty Program, ensures facility/department safety and compliance with OSHA.
Confirm certification, licensing and training of employees.


Requirements:


Bachelor Degree is preferred from an accredited College or University in Business Management or Business Administration or related logistics field
Must have at least ten years of supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the logistics STAMIS in use and must have the ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services is required .

Must possess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans, working instructions and delegate/assign work and priorities.
May be required to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Identify complex problems and review related info to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Knowledge of Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS -IE).
