Job Description

Duties:
-Perform general interior and exterior home repair tasks including preventative maintenance for both occupied and vacant rental homes.
- Respond to repair requests from residents/ customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance/repair activities.

-Be available for and promptly respond to "emergency" repair request after business hours, including weekends and holidays.

-Perform general exterior maintenance tasks such as pressure washing, picking up small debris from the lawn areas, checking for signs of needed repairs.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to interact with tenants or customers in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of general maintenance repair tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation.

This position requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance tasks and be able to provide high-quality service to our customers.

Summary

In the role of General Maintenance, you will be essential in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your core skills in mechanical knowledge and maintenance will be vital for performing repairs and upkeep. You will also leverage your premium skills in electrical experience and programmable logic controllers to address complex issues. Your commitment to customer service will enhance the experience for all building occupants. With relevant skills in leadership and CMMS, you will contribute to a well-maintained and efficient environment, supporting our organization's operational goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 42 per week
