We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Independent Contractor to provide general repair and upkeep services across our residential property. This role offers
flexible hours
and is ideal for a contractor who can work independently, manage their own schedule, and deliver high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities include completing routine and emergency maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, appliance troubleshooting, and general property repairs. Contractors must supply their own tools, maintain clear communication, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
This is a contract-based position with work assigned as needed. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and able to respond to maintenance requests promptly while maintaining professional interactions with residents and management.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Troubleshoot and repair common household appliances as needed.
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after each job.
Communicate effectively with property management regarding project status, materials needed, and schedules.
Provide emergency or after-hours maintenance support when available.
Supply and maintain personal tools and equipment required for the work.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 - 15.0 per week
