The General Maintenance 2nd Class Position creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment with a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor. A 2nd class general maintenance engineer will be primarily responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, front of house areas, and back of house areas. A 2nd class general maintenance engineer will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Requiring some skills in these areas as well as good communication and multitasking skills.
90 Day Probationary Rate: $29.33 per hour
Hourly Rate: $34.51
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years building/hotel maintenance experience is preferred.
- Good customer service and troubleshooting skills are preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and comprehend programs related to preventive maintenance, TV systems, lock systems, HVAC systems, etc.
- Past BOC 1 training is a preferred knowledge.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
