Timesaver/Deburring

Shifts Available: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday) 5am - 5:30pm

Quality Tool, an ISO 9001:2015 certified precision metal manufacturing company, supplies high-quality metal components to leading Fortune 500 companies. We are currently seeking reliable, motivated, and team-oriented General Laborers to join our Timesavers and Deburring Department at our Brookings, SD facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating deburring and timesaving machines to perform deburring, grinding, blending, buffing, and tumbling operations on metal products to meet exacting quality standards.

Strong attention to detail and workmanship.

Good hand dexterity.

Understanding of basic hand inspection tools i.e. Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Indicators. Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving ability in a machine shop environment.

Good judgment and decision making skills.

Good attendance, punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Required Education and Experience:

1+ years of precision metal finishing experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical or trade school training program a plus.
