Reads and comprehends blueprints, instructions and follows all established procedures.
Verifies all material and equipment needed is available to begin the process.
Takes measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
Selects or modifies components according to measurements and specifications.
Aligns material and puts together parts to build complex seating units.
Perform all necessary system transactions.
Ensure all products meet quality standards.
Maintains equipment and workspace in good condition.
Inputs production quantities and time data into ERP.
Reports on issues, malfunction, or defective parts.
Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of relevant experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings, engineer grade tape measures (includes decimals) etc.
Ability to use tools:
Power air tools, clamps, battery powered drills, impact wrenches.
Drill press.
Simple tooling set up.
Good understanding of quality control principles.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work with fiberglass.
Ability to work regular schedules set forth by the Management team.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standing for entire shift.
Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Exposure to metal dust and fiberglass.
Repetitive arm/hand motions.
Able to twist, bend, stoop as needed.
