Job Description

The Mitigation Technician plays a key role in restoring homes and businesses after water, fire, mold, or storm damage. This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to helping customers get their lives back to normal. You will work directly on job sites, operate restoration equipment, document work performed, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Perform water, fire, smoke, and mold mitigation services according to IICRC and Servpro standards. Set up, monitor, and remove equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA machines. Conduct moisture readings and document affected areas accurately. Perform demolition tasks when necessary (drywall removal, flooring removal, etc.). Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of job sites and company vehicles. Complete documentation, photos, and job notes using company software. Communicate professionally with customers and the team to ensure a smooth job process. Assist Crew Chiefs and Project Managers in daily operations as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or varying conditions. Ability to work on-call rotation, including some evenings and weekends. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
