Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various personal homes to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your technical skills and problem-solving abilities are valued. Prior experience with electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks is preferred.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential homes Troubleshoot issues using major and minor tools Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs Install, repair, or replace drywall, doors, and flooring (Tasks vary depending on homeowners request) Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with owner to complete projects efficiently and effectively Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Assist with special projects or renovations as needed

Experience

Ability to work independently and to potentially lead small team in a fast-paced environment when owner is not on site. Proven experience in general maintenance or maintenance person roles preferred Familiarity with home renovations of bathrooms, kitchens, basements and outside lawn care and mainteance. Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, and write professionally is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks Clean and professional dress and able to pass a drug test. Possess a driver's license and reliable vehicle. Have own tools and able to use owner's tools as needed. 1099 Contractor Proven 5 year history with references of work experience
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
