Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Supervisor to lead our team in Underground Fiber Optic Install. Looking for high-quality service and support in the field. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with Directional Drill operation. Must have Experience in this field and good references

. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety standards are met, and providing guidance to technicians in the field.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities to ensure efficient operations. Blanket project covering the state of Iowa. Work will begin in Eastern Iowa Full Season work with weather related days Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Schedule all work and conduct checks that work is completed on time. Provide training and support to team members on best practices for installation and maintenance. Communicate effectively with clients via telephone and telecommunication systems to address service needs. Maintain accurate records of work performed Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service delivery and operational efficiency. Operate Experience is required operating Vermeer drills, locating, calling in services, setting handholes, fiber install and small equipment Must have a clean driving record CDL preferred

Requirements

Proven experience as a General Foreman or Superintendent or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. Experience with mapping Experience white lining and calling locates in and understanding Julie law Experience projecting work ahead to move forward Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to telecommunicate effectively. Computer experience generating reports Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with fieldwork.
