Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our dental practice in

Olney, ILLINOIS.



This practice is in rural America which has high demand for services with little to no supply of services to residents in and around Olney.

We are looking for an individual to commute or relocate. Earning potential is high with the right individual. Because of the distance between Chicago & Olney, you would need to come in Sunday night and stay through Thursday (schedule can be adjusted). We will cover cost of housing and transportation.

Do you have student loans? There are Federal & State grants to pay for student loans due to the lack of services in rural America.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves performing a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with HIPAA regulations. The General Dentist will work collaboratively with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional dental services.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans. Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics. Utilize advanced techniques in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with team members to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care. Stay current with dental terminology, medical imaging, and anatomy knowledge to enhance patient treatment outcomes. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.

Experience



Proven experience as a General Dentist in a clinical setting is required. IL license required. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Experience in pediatric dentistry and endodontics is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical documentation, medical terminology, and dental fabrication processes. Previous experience in a dental clinic or office environment is essential. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care are necessary for success in this role.
