Mount Vernon Dental Smiles is looking for a passionate part-time general dentist to join our team, Saturdays only! We strive to provide exemplary, personalized dental care in a friendly, relaxing environment and treat every patient with compassion and integrity. Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients with oral diseases

Provide dentistry services such as root canals, extractions, fillings, bridges, crowns, dentures, implants and other oral services (restorative a must)

Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits and preventive dental care

Ensure in compliance with OSHA and dental board procedures

Conduct hygiene checks on procedures performed by the RDH

Examine patients, obtain medical history and develop treatment plans

Monitor patient progress and maintain immaculate treatment records

Work with clinic staffs to provide quality patient care services

Address clinical issues promptly and accurately

Stay current with the latest developments in dentistry through our complimentary CE courses

Qualifications

DDS or DMD from a CODA and/or ADA accredited school

Virginia Dental License

CPR Certified, a plus

Understanding of, and complies with, local, state, and ADA regulations, protocols, and procedures

Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Exceptional interpersonal skills

We work diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have the proper PPE for the staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant.
