Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Contractor/Owner to lead construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to managing both the team and the construction site.

Duties

Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and final inspection. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Manage project budgets and timelines while maintaining quality control throughout the construction process. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents for accurate project execution. Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion. Supervise and train construction staff in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and more. Ensure proper use of hand tools and power tools by all team members on-site. Implement restoration techniques as needed for renovation projects. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project updates and changes.

Skills

Proficient in Bluebeam for project management and documentation. Strong background in construction management with experience in estimating costs and timelines. Knowledgeable in various construction trades including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, roofing, concrete forming, plastering, glass installation, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, heavy equipment operation, welding, masonry, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, restoration techniques, hardscape installation. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience with concrete finishing and fabrication processes. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices on construction sites. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Job Type: Contract

Pay: $31.25 - $52.00 per hour
