Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various cleaning environments, including commercial, residential, and industrial settings. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high-quality flooring standards. Conduct janitorial duties including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to promote a clean environment. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the building. Handle waste disposal and recycling efforts according to company policies. Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently and effectively. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial or custodial work is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable. Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus. Knowledge of residential painting or porter experience can be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 12 per week
