Job Description

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing and processing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, performing AR and AP, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Accounting and bookkeeping Accounts Payable / Receivable Credit card PO Reconciliation Project/Job Cost Analysis Payroll processing back up Prepare and submit weekly Certified Payroll Reports and monthly Manning Reports. HR matters (new hires, paperwork, issue resolution, etc.) Business licenses, registrations (establish, maintain, renewals) Bonds, Insurance (manage insurance binder; insurance claims; worker's compensation, etc.) Answer phones for inbound phone calls (backup, as needed)

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or 5+ years of accounting experience [REQUIRED] Knowledge of Quick Books Online/ accounting principles Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent computer/ technology skills Highly Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office 365 Understanding/ proficiency in construction or mechanical contractor operations software (e.g., BuildOps) Strong organizational, analytical and math skills Detail oriented
