Daily pig care to include feeding, watering, and herd health.
Maintenance routine such as cleaning dryer vents, greasing anchor bearings and other maintenance tasks, as necessary.
Keeping detailed and accurate health records
Understanding and following HFI's biosecurity programs.
Loading and Unloading animals
Responsible for alarm calls
Pressure washing and composting.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and managerial skills
Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
Ability to train and motivate staff, Contract Partners and colleagues
Proactive and critical thinker with ability to challenge yourself and others
Strong prioritization and organizational skills with excellent time management skills
Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
A passion to acquire an exciting career in the swine industry
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to frequently bend, reach, squat and kneel
