Overview




As a

GCC Program Manager,

you will make an impact by leading strategic program delivery and transformation initiatives across Global Capability Center (GCC) functions. You will be a valued member of the GCC team and work collaboratively with Executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and alignment with enterprise goals.


Location: Anywhere in the US with 75% travel


Level: Senior Director

In this role, you will:



Lead and manage end-to-end GCC (Global Capability Center) build-out phases, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Coordinate across multiple stakeholders including infrastructure, HR, finance, and technology teams. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security, and regulatory requirements. Drive governance, reporting, and communication for all phases of the GCC build-out. Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement for facilities and technology. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and escalate risks proactively.

Required Experience



Key competencies:



15+ years

in program/project management with at least

3-5 years in GCC build-out or similar large-scale programs

. Experience in

Global Capability Centers (GCC)

setup or large-scale

shared services/IT delivery centers

. Strong understanding of

IT infrastructure, facilities management, and global operations

. Familiarity with

cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

and enterprise IT systems. Knowledge of

networking, security compliance, and workplace technology

. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment. Proven track record of delivering complex programs on time and within budget.

Preferred Experience:





Experience in

global operations and cross-border team management

. Exposure to

regulatory compliance frameworks

(GDPR, ISO standards). Familiarity with

workplace automation tools

and

digital transformation initiatives

.

15+ years

overall experience with leadership roles in large-scale programs. Budgeting and financial planning for large programs. Vendor and contract management.

The annual salary for this position is between $215,000 - $230,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.


This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
