We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. You will assist with fueling vehicles, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with fueling their vehicles. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions. Provide product demonstrations and promote upselling of store items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restrooms and convenience store areas. Stock shelves and merchandise products effectively to enhance visibility and sales. Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Assist in supervising staff during shifts to ensure operational efficiency. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with excellent phone etiquette. Perform basic math calculations for sales and inventory management.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Experience with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with customers. Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and retail math tasks. Supervising experience is beneficial for managing staff during shifts. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
