We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. As a Gas Station Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers.

Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their fuel and convenience store needs. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for customers. Monitor fuel dispensers and ensure they are functioning properly, reporting any issues as needed. Provide information about products and services offered at the gas station, promoting sales effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station area, including restrooms and convenience store sections. Assist in supervising staff during shifts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Skills

Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register or POS system. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for accurate cash management and retail math applications. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when supervising staff. Experience in retail or gas station environments is preferred but not required. Pay: $16.05 - $17.05 per hour
