Job Description

We are looking to add a Game Master to our Escape Room Team at our Searcy, Arkansas location. Escape Rooms are a form of live action entertainment. Upon entering an escape room, a team is transported into a theme and then they must solve a series of puzzles to find their objective or to escape the room. We really would like to add a team member that is as excited and passionate about escape rooms as we are, but we are also willing to introduce this fun experience to anyone that has not played an escape room before.

As a Game Master you will be responsible for a team's experience with Hourglass Escape Rooms, from start to finish. We are looking for a team member that is friendly and optimistic, your mood can set the tone for the experience the team will have. When a team enters our facility you will greet them, take payment, go over rules, and lead them into the room. After their game is completed, you will answer any questions the team has and take their game ending photo. After the team leaves you need to reset the escape room for the next team. Resetting the escape rooms is one of the most important parts of the job, you must reset quickly before the next team arrives, but most importantly the room must be reset accurately because if even one item is out of place it can ruin the game for the next team. Attention to detail is a must for this job.

After you have been completely trained you will work most of the time independently. We must have someone that is dependable, punctual, and has a reliable way to get to and from work. We are looking for someone that is a self-starter and able to multi-tasks. Other than the regular game master duties listed above, there will be other tasks that need to be completed such as: social media posts, cleaning, painting, and various other tasks as assigned.

The hours will vary from 10-15 hours per week. We are open Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 12pm-10pm, and Sunday 1pm-6pm, and we need someone that is available to work any of those shifts.
