About the Role & Program:




The Creative & Cultural Diversity department oversees FX and FX Productions' commitment to diversity and inclusion by ensuring representation and equity are reflected in all aspects of the company's culture, creative relationships and content! The team collaborates closely with Disney Entertainment Television's Diversity Equity and Inclusion team on corporate and FX-specific initiatives. This role will support the development and execution of programs and initiatives that will produce diverse and inclusive content and culture at FX Networks, FX Productions, and all FX Original Programming.


As an intern on this team, you will report directly to the Sr. Specialist of Creative and Cultural Diversity at FX.


This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, California area from January 2026-June 2026. Working hours may vary during the business week. The candidate will be asked to work early in the mornings or late in the evenings due to events/activations.

What You Will Do:




As our Creative and Cultural Diversity Intern, you'll play a key role in supporting our Sr. Specialist in executing a variety of exciting initiatives. Your day-to-day tasks will include logistically supporting our 6 employee resource groups, researching diverse vendors to enhance our programming, and brainstorming innovative ways to broaden our storytelling aperture through engaging events and learning opportunities. You'll help run logistics for all of FX's cultural events, including Heritage Months, our quarterly music mixer, and other morale-building activations.


In addition to the fun stuff, you'll also assist with keeping our operations running smoothly by updating important department records, tracking budget spending, drafting communications, and note-taking. On event days, you'll be our on-site champion, helping oversee activations to ensure everything is executed efficiently. On any given day, you will:

Support the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that grow the FX brand as an industry-leader in inclusive storytelling. Support the team in managing day to day operations, including but not limited to, taking detailed notes during meetings, record-keeping, and other logistics as assigned by SVP & Sr. Specialist. Support FX Affinity Groups with Heritage Month and other community activations, including drafting invite language, creating graphics, set up and clean up, liaising with vendors and tracking attendance. Draft monthly FX Cultural Events Newsletter in partnership with DET DEI and other TWDC shared services. Assist with FX Inclusion Think Tank deliverables and logistics, including helping build PowerPoint presentations and communication documents for the Think Tank. Partner with Sr. Specialist to keep records and physical inventory updated, tracking spending, and overall strategy thought partnership.

Required Qualifications & Skills:



Familiarity with FX's brand/content and a passion for television/media/storytelling Excellent written and verbal communication skills; active listening skills. High level of integrity, confidentiality and discretion when given access to sensitive information An inclusive mindset and personal dedication to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion High attention to detail and experience with multi-tasking in a fast-paced, corporate environment. Being a team member who is always prepared to provide support whenever needed Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and Airtable This position requires heavy lifting

Preferred Qualifications:



Previous experience working in the television/entertainment industry Possesses a mindset of innovation and thinking outside the box when it comes to finding ways to champion inclusive content and strategy Previous experience with audio visual equipment (mics, lavaliers, sound systems, projectors, screens, lights), and/or production experience. Familiar with Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, etc. Has a positive can-do attitude and is open to feedback

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information




Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship Able to be fully available from January 2026 through June 2026 Fully available from Monday through Friday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, California area Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work in the Burbank, California area


The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
