The Center for Children (CFC) is seeking a positive, motivated Full-Time Therapist for our Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Program in our

Leonardtown, MD (St. Mary's County)

office location. *PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote or teleworking position; This position provides in-home therapy services.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The full-time Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Program Therapist is responsible for providing quality in-home(see note above) therapy as outlined by the FFT evidence-based practices. This is a full-time exempt position, reporting to the FFT Program Site Supervisor and FFT Program Coordinator.
Schedule - 40-hour work week, typically Monday - Thursday

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide in-home therapy services as required by the program. Meet and maintain a full case load of 12-15 families. Utilize and provide Functional Family Therapy (FFT) as indicated by the National model. Maintain accurate and complete progress notes on the Clinical Service System (CSS) on the FFT National Website. Complete all notes within 36 hours from session time. Submit all monthly data collection in a timely manner to FFT Coordinator/ FFT Site Supervisor. Carry a cell phone at all times when working to respond to calls from staff/clients, confirm appointments, and to handle other work-related issues.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED

Masters level Maryland State Social Work or Professional Counselor Licensure (LMSW, LCPC, LGSW, etc.) Must obtain and maintain your own professional liability insurance policy. Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance. Successfully complete State and Federal background investigation and drug test.

DESIRED

Functional Family Therapy experience is a plus but is not required. Training provided at no cost with a one-year commitment! Understanding of cultural, social and economic diversity Excellent writing skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to handle stressful situations. Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask. Strong communications and interpersonal skills. 1+ year of experience as licensed social worker or professional counselor, preferred. 1+ year experience working with children and families, preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
