Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and customer-centric

Pharmacy Technician

to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role you will work closely with the pharmacist and support staff to ensure efficient, accurate, and compassionate service for our patients and customers. Key Responsibilities:

Accurately receive, process, and prepare prescription orders (both traditional and compounded) under supervision of the pharmacist. Assist in compounding operations: measuring, mixing, labeling, and packaging customized medications according to protocols. Handle online refills, prescription transfers, and veterinary prescriptions as needed. Maintain inventory: restock shelves, check for expiration dates, place orders for medications and supplies. Operate pharmacy software systems, input patient information, verify data, and manage documentation. Provide excellent customer service: greet patients, answer general inquiries, help with over-the-counter wellness products and medical supplies, and assist with insurance or billing questions as appropriate. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including handling controlled substances, maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA) and following safety standards. Assist with daily tasks: drive-thru/ curbside service (if applicable), mail-out prescriptions, delivery coordination, and general pharmacy upkeep (cleaning, organizing, labeling).

Qualifications:

Prior experience (1+ years preferred) working in a pharmacy setting -- familiarity with compounding highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications and prescriptions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer?friendly attitude. Ability to work full-time schedule (including evenings or Saturdays as required). Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple duties and occasional shifting priorities. Basic computer/software skills and willingness to learn pharmacy systems. Commitment to upholding high standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
