We are looking for a patient, resilient and reliable professional who can care for an immobilized, wheelchair bound, non-verbal 65 year old man full-time in the evenings and overnight. Evening responsibilities include feeding manually, giving medication, teeth brushing, assisting with an external catheter, operating an electric hoyer lift and adjusting him in bed throughout the night (approximately 3-5 times).
Patient lives at home with family.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide preferred, not required
- CPR Training Preferred
- Patient care experience
- Senior care background
- Caregiving skills
- Home care experience
- Assisted living experience preferred
- Nursing home experience preferred
- Nursing experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
