About the Position

Two closely related families in

South Reno

are excited to welcome a

full-time, long-term nanny

into a well-established nanny share. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys caring for multiple young children, building strong relationships, and becoming a trusted, consistent presence for families who value communication and teamwork.

This is a

true nanny share;

the families share similar parenting styles, values, and expectations, creating a smooth and supportive work environment.

About the Children & Care Setup

Children:

15-month-old girl 2-year-old girl 4-year-old boy

Daily Care:

Most days are spent with the 1- and 2-year-olds The 4-year-old attends pre-K daily except Wednesdays

Location:

Care primarily takes place in one home Occasional days at the second home as needed

The Ideal Nanny

This role is a great fit for someone who is:

Warm, grounded, and confident, caring for multiple young children Experienced with toddlers and preschool-aged children Organized, proactive, and communicative Safety-conscious and allergy-aware Interested in a long-term role with consistent families

Responsibilities

Full childcare for ages 1, 2, and occasional care for the 4-year-old Planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and outings Outdoor play and community adventures Preparing and serving snacks and lunches (gluten-free household) Cleaning up after meals and child-related messes Supporting daily routines, transitions, and emotional regulation Nap routines Diapering and future potty-training support Occasional preschool pickup and karate drop-off (usually handled by grandma)
Light Child-Related Housekeeping

Tidying play areas Cleaning up after meals Keeping children's spaces organized
(No deep cleaning required)
