Job Description

Blue Valley Recreation Commission runs one of the premier fitness and recreation centers in the area and is dedicated to promoting health and wellness in our community. Our state-of-the-art facilities and diverse range of programs cater to fitness enthusiasts of all levels. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Membership Services Agent to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring our members have an exceptional experience.


This is a Full-time position.

Work schedule*:


Saturday/Sunday: 6:30 am - 3:00 PM

Mon/Tuesday: OFF

Wed/Thursday: 12:45 PM - 9:15

Friday: 10 - 6:30



*all shifts include a 30 minute unpaid lunch.


Starting Pay: $19/hr + Benefits





Responsibilities:

Constantly greet and develop relationships with members and program participants throughout the facility.

Answer incoming telephone calls, transfer calls as necessary, and provide assistance to Recreation Commission patrons and the general public.

Respond to public inquiries in a courteous and informative manner. Direct patrons and guests to program locations within the facility, ensuring they have a seamless experience.

Input patron registrations into a computer system, including registration requests made by phone . Process transactions and prepare refunds in accordance with established policies.

Remain knowledgeable about all programs, class schedules, and membership information.

Maintain a safe environment within the facility. Address member complaints and concerns promptly, keeping the Operations Lead and Supervisors informed of any issues, emergencies, or complaints.

Compile data and process forms and records as needed. Maintain records accurately.

Operate a variety of office equipment, including telephones, computers, and copy machines. Input and retrieve data and text as required to support daily operations.



Qualifications
Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).

Proficiency in operating office equipment and computer systems. MS Office and previous experience in recreation or membership software a plus.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Prior experience in a customer service or receptionist role is a plus.
