Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our fast pace sport bar ASAP .The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment. The Cook will play a crucial role in menu planning and food preparation, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed, maintaining a clean work area. Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences. Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are employed. Collaborate with the staff for menu specials Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives, ovens, grills, and fryers. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant or catering environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Experience in menu planning is a plus, particularly within a dietary department setting. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that meet customer expectations.
