are essential in providing a welcoming, safe, and educational customer experience at Revolution operated dispensaries. As a key part of our in-store Team, you will assist leadership in all administrative, compliance, and operational functions within a fast-paced, highly regulated retail environment. Our dedicated Cannabis Guides are passionate about cannabis and are motivated to continually develop their knowledge to ensure they can help educate and guide customers towards beneficial cannabis products. As a Cannabis Guide at Revolution, you will champion the beauty and wonder of the cannabis plant, while promoting a work environment that is positive, customer-oriented and compliant within the guidelines of the local cannabis laws and company policies.

Consistently provide exceptional customer service
Intake customers and capture mandatory documents based on state regulatory requirements
Electronically file and organize documents
Answer telephone calls, schedule appointments as necessary, and support all other administrative functions
Accurately utilize point-of-sale system
Provide accurate support to prepare for audits
Adhere to standardized operational procedures including safety & security protocols
Continually develop and maintain in-depth cannabis product knowledge
Inspire customer confidence and develop brand loyalty
Ensure understanding of the local Cannabis Program and Federal Laws regarding cannabis
Comply with all security and legal requirements
Ensure a well-maintained, clean, organized and welcoming dispensary environment
Cash management skills/abilities
Arrive as a team player ready to take on any duties assigned by the Manager
Demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality to maintain daily operations and team effectiveness; able to work regular business hours and proactive in seeking coverage when necessary
Minimum Education/Experience:
HighSchool Diploma OR GED
At least 2+ years of demonstrated work experience in retail, hospitality, or health-care; lead or managerial experience strongly preferred, Cannabis Industry experience also strongly preferred
Experienced in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Teams
POS and Cash Management experience required (Sweed preferred)
Reliable transportation to our Schaumburg, IL Revolution Dispensary location
Must be a team player; availability to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekends, evenings and holiday shifts
Required or Preferred Skills, Abilities, Licensures and Certifications:
Must be 21+ years of age; Must pass a thorough internal and external background check including a criminal history check by the State Police & FBI
Must obtain a Dispensary Registration Identification Card from the local governing department prior to official start date
Strong, dedicated work ethic championed by a compassionate customer service approach
Excellent communication skills with different levels of stakeholders both internally and externally
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced regulated work environment
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as; reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions
Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (Moderate noise).
Frequent sitting and/or standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Work Schedule:
40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department/scheduling needs.
Occasional evening/weekend/holiday work as necessary.
