Department Overview Motorola Solution\'s Cybersecurity Services division is defining the future of the security industry through innovative end-to-end-solutions. We monitor our customers\xe2\x80\x99 cybersecurity posture to keep them safe from cyber criminals and help keep critical infrastructure in operation.



Motorola Solutions Inc., a global leader in mission-critical communications and analytics, is seeking a talented and experienced Fullstack Software Engineer to join our dynamic and dedicated Customer Satisfaction team within the Cybersecurity Services division. As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for our ActiveEye security platform. ActiveEye is an innovative cybersecurity monitoring and analysis tool that enables our customers to safeguard their critical infrastructure from cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy fullstack software applications using HTML, SASS, JavaScript, React, Cypress, Python, Django, and Postgres on AWS infrastructure.

Work closely with cybersecurity experts to understand requirements and implement robust security features into the ActiveEye security platform.

Participate in the Kanban development process, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of software solutions.

Contribute to a fun and supportive team culture, embracing collaboration, creativity, and innovation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or a related program (preferred).

2-3 years of relevant experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer, working on complex software projects.

Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript, with experience in modern frameworks like React.

Solid understanding of backend technologies and frameworks, specifically Python and Django.

Familiarity with database systems, preferably Postgres, and proficiency in writing efficient queries.

Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is required, with expertise being a plus.

Experience with test automation using Cypress or similar tools.

Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and best practices is highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work at our Ashburn, Virginia office on a regular basis as part of a hybrid work arrangement.
