Full Time Pre-K Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the lead Pre-K teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play Help children develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills through guided activities and free play Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's progress and development Assist with daily tasks such as meal times, nap times, and maintaining a tidy classroom environment Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the Pre-K program

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Current CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
