At Utah Valley Rheumatology, we run a very fast-paced medical office. We value the health and well being of our patients. We are looking for a full time Medical Assistant to join our respected practice to offer quality care, communication and timely responses to our patients.

SKILLS:

-Understand Medical Terminology

-Ability to be organized and communicate well with others

DUTIES:

-

Answer and triage phone calls and messages from patients.

-Assist patient to rooms, perform vital signs when needed.

-Review messages with physicians and respond in a prompt and courteous manner.

-Communicate test and lab results. Answers questions as appropriate.

-Refill prescriptions.

-Give instructions to the patient as instructed by physician.

-Assist physicians in the exam room when needed.

-Administer IM injections and document in EMR as needed.

-Administer Dexa Scans to patients on occasion.
