We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietary Manager to join our team at
Holmes Lake Rehabilitation & Care.
The CDM will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nutritional care to our residents. This position requires a passion for enhancing the dining experience and a commitment to promoting health and well-being through proper nutrition.

Responsibilities:
Nutritional Assessment:
Conduct assessments of residents' dietary needs and preferences, collaborating with healthcare staff to create individualized meal plans.
Menu Planning:
Develop and implement nutritionally balanced menus that meet residents' dietary requirements, preferences, and regulatory standards.
Supervision:
Manage dietary staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure effective food service operations.
Food Safety Compliance:
Ensure all food safety and sanitation regulations are adhered to, including proper storage, preparation, and serving practices.
Budget Management:
Assist in managing the dietary department budget, controlling food costs, and minimizing waste while maintaining high-quality service.
Resident Interaction:
Foster a positive dining experience by interacting with residents, gathering feedback, and making adjustments to enhance satisfaction.
Collaboration:
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and therapy staff, to support residents' overall health goals.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of menus, dietary assessments, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
0Experience: Previous experience in a food service or healthcare setting is a plus but not required. On the-job training will be provided.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, and capability to handle hot and cold food items.
Skills:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required.
Associate's degree in food service management, nutrition, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in a dietary management role within a skilled nursing facility or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and dietary practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
