Kidzone is seeking a highly motivated and energetic person to welcome to the team. We are seeking an individual who can work some hours during the week between 7:45am-3pm and the occasional Friday or Saturday night 4:45-9:15pm. Kidzone services children 4months-12 years. Staff is required to engage children in crafts, games, activities, and may be asked to feed lunch or dinner. Building and maintaining relationships with the children and parents is a must as well as the ability to provide friendly and polite service. Job Duties and Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Engages children in interactive activities including organized arts and crafts, singing, and games while maintaining a safe environment \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate a fun, positive and outgoing attitude while acting as a role model \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external customers \xc2\xb7 Maintains cleanliness and order of daycare in order to ensure safety \xc2\xb7 Use technology to check members in and out, send pictures to parents, and answer e-mails. \xc2\xb7 Jonas, Microsoft office, Photoshop, Excel and Outlook knowledge a plus Position Requirements \xc2\xb7 Previous child care experience preferred \xc2\xb7 First Aid Required within the first 60 days of hire \xc2\xb7 Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED required within the first 60 days of hire \xc2\xb7 Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to climb ladders \xc2\xb7 Must complete background check and drug test \xc2\xb7 Must be 16 years of age. \xc2\xb7 Ability to follow written and verbal instructions \xc2\xb7 Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include emergencies, evenings, weekends and holidays.
