Position Description:

JTEC Consulting is hiring Full Stack Developers with mid-senior level experience supporting a federal government customer environment. Qualified candidates will have current/recent experience working across the cloud-based software development lifecycle designing and implementing data layer, application code, and user interface.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Work as part of a collaborative team designing and implementing all levels of the software solution (front end, back end, database). Work closely with Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate requirements into user stories and incorporate new functionality into software applications. Support development and integration with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using DevOps tools and methodologies. Design and deliver APIs and web services for integration with systems and databases. Support infrastructure and security architecture. Leverage AWS best practices to optimize code for cloud deployment. Implement cost-conscious development and deployment strategies. Contribute to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of software engineering processes. Support full on-site work schedule.

Education and qualifications:

U.S. citizenship (no dual citizenship) Current security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; equivalent years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 4-8 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering complete software solutions including: + Hands-on coding experience working from the data layer, through the application layer, through the user interface.
+ Experience working with an Agile/Scrum team delivering software iteratively.
+ Experience with cloud-based SDLC for front-end, back-end, database.
+ Design and implement all levels of software solution (data layer, application code, user interface).
+ Experience designing and delivering APIs and integrations to interface with cloud applications, databases, and other systems.
+ Experience with enterprise cloud infrastructure security requirements.
+ Experience decomposing functional requirements into technical specifications and tasks.
+ Front-end development experience using one or more of these technologies: ReactJS, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
+ Data layer experience using MongoDB, DynamoDB, SQL, unstructured data, Python, R
+ Experience developing, deploying and maintaining microservices and systems on AWS or Azure cloud platforms
+ Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, React.
+ Proficiency with data management tools including SQL and XML.
+ Experience developing and maintaining unit test scripts.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to excel in a blended government and contractor team environment. Ability to work on-site.
