is responsible for reconditioning, reassembly, and testing of three-phase padmount transformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.
Read and follow work order instructions to ensure your rebuilding transformers to customer specifications.
Gather parts and tools that are needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition prior to usage.
Reconditioning and reassembly padmount transformers will include but is not limited to cleaning and inspecting components, replacing gaskets, changing the oil and basic repairs.
Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation.
Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately. Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete.
Usage of overhead crane and other material handling equipment may be needed to perform job tasks.
Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
Other assigned duties as needed.
Experience with electrical and mechanical areas, required.
Transformer work history, preferred.
Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
Help team members resolve questions and help with the workload.
A dependable and strong work ethic; works safely.
Professional language and conduct at all times.
Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
