Job Description

The Fulfillment Associate and Driver is responsible for delivering a quality customer experience. They embody Farm Link Hawai?i's core values of Integrity, Quality, and Partnership. The Fulfillment Associate and Driver adheres to warehouse policies for picking and packing, quality control, and rotation. They abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. They collaborate with leadership in fleet maintenance, ensuring driver safety. Concurrently, they maintain a clean and safe warehouse for team members and customers alike.

We are hiring specifically for weekend and 5:30 AM start time availability. Please be prepared to work at least one weekend day and be able to start at 5:30 AM

This is a fast-paced and physical role that requires lifting and loading (up to 40 pounds) and working in different temperature environments.

As a Fulfillment Associate and Driver, this person adapts to the evolving needs of the customer and the business. The Fulfillment Associate and Driver reports directly to the Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, and the Director of Operations.

About the Job

Accurately and in a timely manner, pick items for orders Pack items for orders safely, efficiently, and in a way to avoid damage Correctly load boxes onto delivery vehicles Transport and deliver items to our customers in a safe, timely manner Review orders for missing items, quality, and packing standards in order to ensure customer satisfaction Assist with loading and unloading items from vans Work in collaboration with the Customer Advocate team to ensure a quality customer experience Adhere to assigned routes and set departure times Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record Complete pre-departure and post-delivery documentation forms Distribute orders to our third party delivery partners Distribute orders to our hub pick-ups Ensure same-day orders are packed and distributed in a timely manner Follow sanitation protocols and proactively sanitize surfaces Follow food safety protocols and practices Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to warehouse maintenance and bin sanitation Maintain clear and proactive communication with Operations leadership

About You

Experience handling and inspecting produce, meats, and other food products High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable working in cold environments (we will provide outerwear to keep you insulated) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws Strong time management and customer service skills Able to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items (up to 40lbs) for extended periods Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Able to work both independently and in a team environment Passionate about building a more sustainable and equitable food system for Hawai?i

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
