Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fry cook/dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and supporting a high-quality dining experience. Prior experience in food handling or the food industry is a plus but not necessary

Duties

Cooking food in the fryer to the proper temperature and serving on the buffet in a timely manner May be asked to work as dishwasher every so often Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas and ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and supporting meal assembly Support kitchen staff with food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Organize and manage dishware inventory to ensure availability during service hours Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment to promote safety and efficiency Support catering or special event setups by providing clean dishware and utensils as required

Requirements

Prior experience in food service is a plus but not necessary Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously A positive attitude and willingness to support team
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
