Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Fruit Expert to join our team in a dynamic grocery store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh produce, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to engage with customers through product demonstrations and effective merchandising. This role involves working alongside other staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that our fruit arrangements are appealing.
Responsibilities
Cutting up various fruits to make arrangements out of Engage with walk in customers in order to find the best product for their needs Communicate with other staff to work together Maintain and organized and visually appealing display to attract customers. Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries. Utilize POS systems for efficient sales processing and inventory management. Upsell products by effectively communicating different options to customers for certain occasions. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the handling of fresh produce.
Experience
Previous experience in kitchen or producing arrangements is preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
