Early Mornings and Weekends

Position Summary

To receive and unload merchandise, rotate and stock cooler and freezer cases and maintain the appearance of merchandise in the department in a timely and efficient manner following standards prescribed by company and departments standards while ensuring cleanliness, quality and high level service to the customer.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

Promote outstanding customer service with all guests and associates, greeting all customers with a smile, offering assistance, thanking customers for shopping at our store and inviting them to come back.

Project a professional personal image with impeccable hygiene and wearing a clean, neat, assigned uniform, with a clearly visible nametag.

Assist in receiving, unloading and stacking merchandise in the coolers and freezers.

Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on the sales floor

Notify the Department Manager if products or supplies need to be ordered.

Assist in maintaining a clean, attractive and well stocked department.

Cooperate with Department Manager and other associates to control department expenses.

Observe all loss prevention strategies, handling spoiled or damaged products properly, reducing waste and monitoring for theft.

Actively support the department, other departments and store leadership by following all company policies and procedures and providing assistance and support where needed.

Observes all safety policies and procedures.

Stays productive throughout the shift regardless of customer volume, performing other duties such as cleaning and facing shelves.

Education/Work Requirements

Job Experience No previous experience required

Knowledge, Skills Abilities Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.

Ability read, write, comprehend and interpret documents

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
