Job Summary

: Frozen clerks are responsible for receiving, storing, restocking, and maintaining inventory of merchandise in displays, shelves, racks, cases, bins and tables to attract customers and promote sales. Additional duties may be assigned to facilitate store operations and to promote customer service.

Takes inventory to identify items to be reordered or replenished Examines merchandise/produce to determine proper standards for sale Greets and assists customers by providing information on products Cleans and stocks shelves, racks, cases, bins, tables, trays and displays with merchandise in an orderly and attractive way to appeal to customers Maintains a clean and orderly work place at all times, sweeping and mopping floors as needed or required Receives, opens, and unpacks cartons/cases; checks what is received to the invoice Requisitions merchandise from suppliers based on available space, merchandise on hand, customer demand, or advertised specials Stamps, attaches, or changes price tags on merchandise and displays as needed or required Follows proper timekeeping procedures to accurately record hours worked

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
