As the Front Office Lead you are a critical member of our team committed to delivering great care to our patients and to working effectively and respectfully with one another. You are key to our promise of delivering an exceptional patient experience by performing administrative tasks in the Urgent Care setting under the direct supervision of the Site Manager.
Clerical/FD Responsibilities
Register patients using EHR platform
Obtain HIPAA and Treatment consent forms
Schedule/Cancel appointments as requested
Follow up if patient does not show
Verify demographics and insurance information
Scan forms into the PM/EMR system (ie: Photo ID, Insurance Cards, Registration/Consent forms, etc.)
Verify PCP and pharmacy information
Real time insurance verification
Occupational Health Accounts
Verify accounts, payment process, sending records and f/u
Collect Fees, balances, and Copays
Log and post all payments
Closing Envelope
Place cash & log in Closing Envelope and place in safe
Verify cash box
Medical record release
Maintain HIPAA protocols
Closing duties - Taking out trash, cleaning up workspace
Additional Responsibilities as Front Office Lead
Responsible for Orienting/Training New Hires on Front Office workflows/policies/procedures
Assist site manager with reviewing employee performance on front desk responsibilities
Assist with ordering office supplies
Maintain clinic cleanliness/organization
3 Shifts Per week (10 or 12 hour shifts)
Assist site manager with managing schedule and call-ins
Two days per week on call to cover call-ins
Obtain additional training as needed (ie: DOT Drug/BAT testing, etc.)
Additional tasks/duties as assigned by your site manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
