SUMMARY OF POSITION



Part-Time, 12PM-5PM, Monday- Friday




The Front Office Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients in a medical clinic. This role ensures a professional, welcoming environment while managing front office operations, supporting administrative tasks, and maintaining smooth workflow in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival. Answer, screen, and forward phone calls professionally. Register patients, complete check-in/check-out procedures, and verify insurance information. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including referrals to other facilities when needed. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues efficiently. Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance). Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS




Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED


Preferred: Two-year experience as medical receptionist


Bilingual Skills Preferred; Compensation Available
