The Front Office Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients in a medical clinic. This role ensures a professional, welcoming environment while managing front office operations, supporting administrative tasks, and maintaining smooth workflow in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival.
Answer, screen, and forward phone calls professionally.
Register patients, complete check-in/check-out procedures, and verify insurance information.
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including referrals to other facilities when needed.
Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Ability to manage sensitive patient information with discretion and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED
Preferred: Two-year experience as medical receptionist
