Job Description

Creative Dining Services at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa is looking for a part time FOH/Catering Assistant team member. The FOH/Catering Assistant team member, works with the Front of House/Catering Manager to ensure that a welcoming, clean, sanitized dining room is provided for our guests. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining/catering services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.

Core Responsibilities:

Sets up, serves and cleans up dining room as directed. Interacts with guests and customers at events with professionalism, service and grace, upholding the customer service expectations of CDS and the client/account. Ensures all dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place. Ensures proper lock-up procedures are followed and enforced. Provides customer feedback to Front of House/Catering Manager as it is received, including both positive and negative remarks. Assists Front of House/Catering Manager as directed to ensure front of house is well stocked, clean and customer friendly. Reports to FOH/Catering Manager as needed for catering needs. Completes additional tasks requested by the Front of House/Catering Manager.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 year minimum experience with food service and catering preferred.
